Cream Cheese Corn

I made this amazing side dish tonight!! It was so good that I didn’t even think to take a picture. Of course, being me, I modified it since I didn’t have all of the ingredients but it’s something that I’ll totally make again!

I found the recipe here so I’m not going to post the whole thing. I’ll just tell you what I added/didn’t have on hand.

Storytime. So I broke our red pepper flake jar about a month ago. You know the ones at the pizza places. Yeah, shattered all to hell on my kitchen floor. I haven’t replaced it or the flakes. Fail. Storytime done. So I used Tony Chachere’s seasoning instead and threw in some garlic powder as well. Don’t ask me how much, I rarely measure when seasoning stuff. I also threw in a handful of bacon bits. The real kind not that Bac-O crap. I can’t even tell you what a party in my mouth it was when I finally sat down to eat. We also had roasted pork loin and french fries. I know, I know. I’m a gourmet cook. 🙂
